Super fun! only issue I have run into so far is sudden lag spikes when opening cards, when a scene is loaded, and when the player turn is started. It doesn't seem others are having this issue so it might be an outdated driver on my end, but I also have a quite potato laptop, so it could also be some minor performance issues. Overall very polished and enjoyable, super exited to see what comes next!

This week I've tried a few runs of the newest version and I feel mixed. I miss the electric monsters that zoomed across the field, but I assume they're being saved for other dungeons.
The part I -hate- is the new plant enemies. Almost every run I've had was ended by getting rooted in a spot where I couldn't attack, and I couldn't draw the correct card in time. I'd suggest either A) changing their cross-shaped AOE to an X-shaped AOE so when they aim next to you you don't get hit, B) making them inert every other turn so you don't get rooted several turns in a row, or C) both. I think A and B might not actually be enough when you enter a room with 4 plants.
That being said, I'm having a lot of fun up til that point. Please fix!
Hey, we're actually updating the demo here on Itch.io because we've created new builds for two major upcoming events. We will be attending Taipei Game Show and NextFest soon, and we wanted the build on Itch.io to be updated as well.
The new version includes the same dungeon as before, but all playable characters are now available.
super super fun a few small issues tho one if you die while rooted the rooted continues to the next run and theres no way to get rid of it without closing and reopening the game. two sometimes it'll randomly crash when using a card. three like the comment below me the softlock is bad ;-;

i have realized its not a softlock i am just stupid. but its still slightly annoying
The game is awesome but I did get softlocked by one of those plant guys because every turn he would fire a seed bomb (which roots) and I wasn't in line of sight to hit him. Please give it more attacks! Have my plight not replicable
When an explosive enemy self destructed on a button in a puzzle room while lured by an orb and in so doing hit the player, the game went into an infinite loop of player and enemy turns ending.
bro, I really liked the game despite having played a little, I don't know if there's dialogue or something, but I'm Brazilian and I'm waiting for a translation here.
I don't know if it was just for me, but when in full screen the game crashes, the mouse acts as if it was still in a window.
HOLY JESUS! This game is AWESOME! Please, don't let this project flop, I wish I could help. I just wanted to leave a feedback. I think letting the fast forward and overview button to be "toggle-like" in the full game would be really nice and helpful. I like to play fast and see information all the time. Anyway, I'm in love with this project, seriously!
This is a really interesting concept, and you've executed it so well! I really like strategy and rogue-likes, so seeing them in one game is amazing! Also, HOW DID YOU MAKE THE MUSIC SO GOOD?!
bro, honestly THIS IS THE BEST GAME WHOAAAAA, the mechanism like FFTA Tactic, like it. The graphic pixel and goodnes cool. And instantly integreated with draft cards make this game MAX WHOLESOME. Still wait until the game release. Can't wait, thx for the chill atmosphere gift :)
I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed Dungeon Drafters demo, and I can guarantee you that the current state of the game is infinitely more fun to play than the version you've just tried. Also, glad to see you mentioning FFTA Tactic, not a reference people point out usually.
This game is fantastic! If you like Deck-Building and Dungeon Crawling in your Tactics styled RPG you’re going to love this game. Plus the art is beautiful! I did end up finding a bug but that is going to happen from time to time. That doesn’t take away from how fun the game actually was. I feel like the card types and the UI could use some work but ultimately I’m super excited to see where this game goes!

This small demo is very enjoyable. The variety of cards requires a certain amount of strategy, even if this first floor is rather simple and straight-forward. One other thing I also enjoyed was the music becoming more lively when going into battle and settling down again when just moving through the level. All in all, very fun to play.

I found a bug where if a beetle is summoned onto the charm trap it doesn't change color but still becomes friendly.

Also, sometimes the card descriptions bug and the slimes doesn't divide properly, in case nobody mentioned or if you aren't already aware of that.

You will need a rar extractor like winrar
You can use just use winrar. 👍 Next time I'll keep in mind to use a zip file, I guess people get less confused hehe
